Éditorial & Communication Assistant – Internship
LABBEYE, an avant-garde fashion magazine based in Paris, is looking for an Editorial & Communications Assistant for a 2-month full-time internship on site.
If you’re passionate about fashion and want to be part of an innovative independent magazine, this opportunity is for you. This internship offers a dynamic and hands-on experience in both editorial production and brand communication.
For internships, the following conditions are essential:
• You must be based in Paris
• You must have a valid internship agreement (convention de stage)
• Minimum duration: typically 2 months
• Roles may include editorial assistance, communication, communication, research, or production
Our internships are immersive, demanding, and designed to offer real experience at the heart of an avant-garde media.
As an Editorial & Communications Assistant at LABBEYE, you will support the team across multiple key areas:
Video editing : Help with editing the video for social media.
Content Editing & Proofreading: Review and edit articles submitted by our contributors to ensure impeccable grammar and spelling before publication.
Online Publishing: Help upload and format articles on our website, including image integration and layout.
Image Management & Rights: Gather visuals to illustrate articles and handle image rights requests. This includes reaching out to designers/photographers to obtain permission and updating a shared Google Sheet with the status of each request (sent, approved, declined), designer names, and contact details (email, Instagram).
Copywriter Coordination: Assist in recruiting new contributors, organize video/phone calls, respond to inquiries on Instagram, and share access or resources when needed.
Contributor Onboarding: Guide new writers through our collaborative tools (WhatsApp, Notion), making sure they receive all necessary documentation (editorial guidelines, workflow).
Editorial Pipeline Tracking: Monitor article progress using a shared editorial tracking sheet. Follow up with writers to meet publishing deadlines.
Community Management: Help manage Instagram interactions (DMs and comments). Schedule calls with followers or brand partners via the professional account.
Partnership Outreach & Trend Research: Identify potential brand or designer collaborations. Conduct creative and competitive monitoring by sharing inspiring posts or campaigns from other media and fashion accounts.
Administrative & Comms Support: Reply to general inquiries and external emails. Be a flexible and reliable support for various ongoing editorial or media projects.
